Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Mantus lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. History: Chad was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Engraver they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Doctor, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and balancing her hectic life and new locksmith responsibilities is difficult
