Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Jocelyn's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Description: This tall, slender man wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. His black hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His skin is flawless and his blue eyes scan people very quickly.
Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. A friendly and beautiful Gnome, he is rarely seen without a few beauties around his arms. Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.
History: Erky was born with his father's beautiful face. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Blacksmith. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and retire the richest man in the west

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs.

History: He was born into a rich family. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Thradal alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: He is a pot bellied eastern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. His silver hair is heavily combed to the right. His eyes are brown and beady.
Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He found a children's book about a Half-Orc Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature quarterstaff.
Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: This fat eastern man has a bulbous nose and wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His auburn hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are gray.
Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. Whurbin is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.
History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the east. Whurbin was born on a far eastern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Servant. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Locksmith they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Servant, and he later adopted a second daughter.
Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with painting. She constantly tries to fill her life with painting. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: Emeny was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.
History: Born in the east to a Fletcher, Simon learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying east to reunite his family. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Fletcher.
