In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Eggren alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Burto liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week.
