History: Elysande lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Elysande alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Habor was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He's also a talented Layabout, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Helen hails from a village terrorized by drow. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by drow. Helen was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the drow.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and she desires to right it

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Tabaxi activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tabaxi doctor. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
