The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Sariel took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up scythe and armor she uses now. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: Gardain was born with his father's beautiful face. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. After a long history of fighting, Gardain and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Andry was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Roofer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Roofer work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Gifted from a young age, Ortegar studied abroad. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ortegar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Chassath abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ishmoz grew up listening to his father's many stories. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
