History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 9 years.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
