History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Valanthe was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Expand her business; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with her Laborer father left her crippled. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.
