History: Kite lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Kite took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up falchion and armor she uses now. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Balam alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
