History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Oppah was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and expand his business
