History: John was born with his father's beautiful face. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. John took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up kukri and armor he uses now. Recently the stress of being a Ruler has made it difficult for him to sleep.

Description: This exceptionally lanky woman is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright white and brown, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. She has moderate length blonde hair. She wears a mask on her face.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: Gaaki was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. After a long history of fighting, Gaaki and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To be a Soapmaker again; and she has decided she is irredeemable

Description: This dark-skinned male wears a tan cloak and cross-gartered blue stockings. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His black hair is long and unkept. His green eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: Fivin wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Elven companion (his 'brother'). He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he's looking for his big break

Description: Her left side is far more bruised and cut up than her other. She is dressed in earthy colors with a grey and pastel handkerchief worn on her left side. Her hair is always cut to a buzz. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She became a Detective soon after.

Description: A plain young-adult woman, she wears tan painted combat armor at almost all times. She keeps her long golden hair kept up in a rat tail. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: Born in the north to a Blacksmith, Baelitae learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Baelitae grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Baelitae. She has achieved small success as a Blacksmith.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Laborer profession.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She has achieved small success as a Engraver.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and balancing her hectic life and new engraver responsibilities is difficult

Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears skinny pants and wears a brown and grey robe with the hood down. His long lavender fur is drawn into a two foot long braid. This hazel eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Through the years after Shivering was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Shivering's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: He is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his trident, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a butterfly on it. His copper crest is heavily combed to the left. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.
