Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She has all her life been fascinated with writing.

History: She was raised in a desert tribe. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He got money to start a business from the gang present in town. He is greatly indebted to them.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she wears a large hat to cast shadows over her face and wears ponchos to better hide her body. Her brown hair is thinning but still full. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 19th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by orcs. Lia was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the orcs.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: Carrie was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Brewer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Brewer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
