History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. While he appears to be a normal Half-Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her parents were killed by giants in a raid when she was still a young child. The giants captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: She is content.

Description: This slender man stands about 3'6". He wears professional attire. He keeps his long silver hair kept up in a rat tail. His violet eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Igden isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Gnomish unity. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Igden hails from a village terrorized by drow. At some point he was captured by drow and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against drow; and many drow want him driven away

History: Born to a Brewer, her father struggled to pay the bills. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She was granted divine powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural gnomish artifacts is her passion

History: Bethrynna was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her arcane abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: He is a Shepherd first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Thervan grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He's also a talented Ploughman, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To be a Ploughman again.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Sailor but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: She was born in the west. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away.

Description: This woman is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. She prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. She carries her fan with her everywhere and carries herself as the perfect lady. She has dyed her greying auburn hair a little too much giving a sharp auburn color. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She is mildly Human supremacist, though she does not identify as such. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Dwarven compassion.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He dresses in brown turtlenecks beneath a black coat with brown slacks. His blonde hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His brown eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Veit alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
