History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His childhood dream was to be a Tanner, but he was a colossal failure. He has worked as a Painter like his mother before him.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Barber arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: Pirithin was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Pirithin grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Pirithin. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and balancing his hectic life and new gardener responsibilities is difficult

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She was born into a rich family. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Description: An older woman who wears baggy blue pantaloons and a tan scarf, she is not a threatening figure. She wears her chestnut hair down. She wears an eyepatch.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Vadania embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Vadania and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away.
