Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: Burto speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She works hard and plays hard.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: She is a hateful person. She taunts others and blames them for her problems. A true patriot, Gynnie would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Gynnie was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Gynnie was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. Her first spouse was a Bowyer, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Barrister and was forced into it by her family.
