Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. History: Serpent was born the youngest of three triplets. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Xanaphia is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: She was born at the edge of vast forest. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Xanaphia fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle; and she feels kind of lost in life

Description: 6'5" and muscular, this western man wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Borun isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: Borun hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.

History: Gifted from a young age, Naal studied abroad. While he appears to be a normal Half-Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He tends to his Mason job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Brewer and was forced into it by her family; and she is unsatisfied with her job

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Quelenna has worked very hard to control her curse. She now mingles about in high society.

She has gleaming, smiling white eyes.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Born to a Gardener, her father struggled to pay the bills. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Seere fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Mogg was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Mogg decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.
