She found a children's book about a Halfling Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He hates orcs. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Layabout business.

History: Ekemon hails from a village terrorized by orcs. At a young age his mother died while driving off some orcs. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in pickaxe use. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Servant. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and balancing his hectic life and new servant responsibilities is difficult

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Abalaba was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has achieved small success as a Tanner.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and balancing her hectic life and new tanner responsibilities is difficult
