History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Through the years after Eberk was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Eberk's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

History: Phann lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.
