History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. While he appears to be a normal Half-Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A freak accident while working with his Bricklayer father left him crippled. He now mingles about in high society.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

History: She was raised in a plains tribe. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Barber. She became a Barber soon after.

History: Kasdeya hails from a village terrorized by giants. Her first spouse was a Miller, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.
