History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Nyx was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign.
