History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mella fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing singing.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Tabaxi activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tabaxi doctor. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His childhood dream was to be a Painter, but he was a colossal failure. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: She is well dressed, but even with her fine clothing she looks run-down. She cuts an attractive figure and her suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. She has styled her red hair well, parting it to the right. She is baby faced.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the east. In her 16th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She feels threatened by others; and she is wracked by social anxiety

Description: An older man who is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest, he is not a threatening figure. His chestnut hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Slave Trader mother left him crippled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and to pay off his debts

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform After a long history of fighting, Gomory and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.
