History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Orc companion (his 'brother'). He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Ovak was born on a far southern forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Sculptor. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Guard hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.
