History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Gnomes in Ellywick's homeland. Ellywick decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. History: He got into the Miller business at a young age. A gifted student he started as a Scribe, but he got bored and became a Miller. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Scribe they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Miller, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Through the years after Leshanna was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Leshanna's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by drow.
