History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. History: She was born into a rich family. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. Richard enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Born to a Bounty Hunter, her mother struggled to pay the bills. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. She always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She now owns her own business.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: She was born in the west. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life; and she is wracked by social anxiety

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She was granted divine powers by her dying sister.
