One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: She comes from a rich western family. Through the years after Smoking was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Smoking's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

History: Rose hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Seamstress. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Unemployed they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Laborer, and she later adopted a second daughter.
