His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Through the years after Mastema was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Mastema's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
