History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She worked as a nervous Barber and found it very stressful. She became a Barber soon after.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the south were limited. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter.

He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Spice Merchant for the past few years.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Carlin lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Apothecary. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Apothecary for the past few years.
