History: The child of a Barkeep, who enjoyed hunting, Dean was taken on many hunting expeditions. Dean liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born in the west. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Andraste's homeland. Andraste decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Andraste was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

History: She was raised in a island tribe. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
