Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She comes from a rich western family. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is her passion

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Nykkan lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and balancing her hectic life and new soapmaker responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Lavinia embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. Lavinia enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Gifted from a young age, Lavinia studied abroad. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. History: He is a Hag in disguise. Direcris was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Direcris decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
