Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: Regain custody of her son; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Pyntle was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She has worked as a Mayor like her mother before her.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. Being a Cook kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered painting. She now mingles about in high society.

Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
