History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Anne was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. In her journeys she found a malevolent artifact. She wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Umpen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Brewer but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Shivering was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. She has never given up on her dancing dream.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Half-Elven people; and she uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs
