History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His first spouse was a Guard, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Rivaan hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has never given up on his writing dream.

He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Thradal grew up listening to his father's many stories. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
