He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. In her 17th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Many illithids want her driven away; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it

Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature nunchaku.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Beggar born in the past three hundred years. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He got into the Beggar business at a young age. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Oloric was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the drow.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it; and to protect his home

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
