History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Synthrin alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Synthrin was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A freak accident while working with his Adventurer father left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter.
