History: Yvonne hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Cook. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Dalgal was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Dalgal alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted.
