History: Born to a Knight, his mother struggled to pay the bills. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was born in the west. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it; and to reunite with his absent mother

History: Patrin hails from a village terrorized by brigands. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Patrin was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. Tervaround is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Tervaround hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Dwarf in existence. He is an amazing painter.

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature axe.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Ethereal lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His childhood dream was to be a Scribe, but he was a colossal failure. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Scribe they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Sculptor, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

History: Carlin was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and sabotage a competitor

He has done his best to style his rusty crest to look like a famous performer. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his necromantic talents. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.
