Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. The war was a terrible time for him, and Pirithin does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Pirithin was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He worked as a nervous Unemployed and found it very stressful. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: This woman loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Lagazi was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and sabotage a competitor

Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears a robe, a symbol of luck around her neck, and a nunchaku on her belt, and is pretty ugly. Her moppish auburn hair is in a traditional bowl cut. This brown eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Duvamil was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: To unite with her sister; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers

Description: He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 4'9" when asserting himself. His chestnut hair is matted, messy, and big. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: Galinndan is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Galinndan was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Personality: In the realm of puns, she cannot help herself. She feels obliged to make them. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Sutha was born in the south. At a young age she loved to build and create. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: He got into the Shepherd business at a young age. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Recently the stress of being a Shepherd has made it difficult for him to sleep.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Cumpen liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Fisher. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Faran lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Suhnae was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Suhnae decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
