History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. After a long history of fighting, Mialee and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Tailor. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Serpent was born the youngest of three triplets. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Elven companion (his 'brother'). In the meantime he has taken over work as a Tailor and occasionally as a mercenary.

Description: A woman of a pale complexion, she is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. Her auburn hair is cut short. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Cora was raised in a hard working conservative environment. While she appears to be a normal Halfling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 14 years.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Doctor. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Doctor for the past few years.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he seems to be bored by most things

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He moved out north to avoid the crime he committed. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Beneath her clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. She wears a Stetson hat to hide her balding. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Thiala was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She's also a talented Fletcher, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: This fat northern woman has a bulbous nose and is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright black and blue, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. Her skin is also unnaturally pale. Her hair is short and chestnut. Her face is scarred and worn.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Lagazi was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Adelaide grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Adelaide. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she has decided she is irredeemable
