When her mother died while fighting gnolls, the young Seraphina began to lead the lost caravan. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Seraphina was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Her parents were killed by orcs in a raid when she was still a young child. The orcs captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing.
