History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. Rolf enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Rolf was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Adventurer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Adventurer work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it; and to prove her worth to the world

History: Helen lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She then took over the family business and is one of the better Jeweler for hire.
