History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the south. Drifting was born on a far southern mountains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Dilettante. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Paelias lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
