Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: This man loves singing and to teach people singing more than just about anything. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered poetry. She has never given up on her poetry dream.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
