History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Dilettante hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She tends to her Doctor job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: Leaf hails from a village terrorized by drow. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Tabaxi conditions. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Gnomish people; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and she desires to right it

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Baker and was forced into it by her family.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and to prove her worth to the world

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. Anne enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Anne lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her first spouse was a Beggar, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. After a long history of fighting, Anne and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her childhood dream was to be a Guard, but she was a colossal failure. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
