History: The child of a Dilettante, who enjoyed hunting, Kaladan was taken on many hunting expeditions. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Mortician they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Slave Trader, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and he has decided he is irredeemable

She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Layabout. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Layabout for hire.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and balancing her hectic life and new layabout responsibilities is difficult
