Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. History: Cory hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She takes great pride in her work and is very well organized. Her planner is full of calendar events.
History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Fisher. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Spy they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Fisher, and she later adopted a second daughter.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is her passion; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: She is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. She is physically well-built. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. A friendly and beautiful Gnome, she is rarely seen without a few beauties around her arms. Though a playboy in all rights, she is no lame duck.
History: She was raised in a forest tribe. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Mardnab took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up rapier and armor she uses now. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a red coat, and is pretty ugly. His hair is short and brown. He has green eyes and a red hat with a grey feather.
Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Map Maker arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He now mingles about in high society.

Description: This woman is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. She dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. Her brown hair is thinning but still full. Her gold eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.
History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Armara fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
