History: Vaina was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Vaina alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She disdains her fellow westerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. At a young age her mother died while driving off some brigands. Her father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in glaive use. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Carter. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 12 years.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Glassblower arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She now owns her own business.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 20. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Anthony hails from a village terrorized by brigands. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud
