Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what she was had she not made sure her armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit she dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over her head. Her blonde hair is greasy and uncared for. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.
Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.
Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and to protect her home

Description: This exceptionally lanky man wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His silver hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His eyes are violet and he is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.
History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Ombul abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: A deep hatred of drow; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: She is scrawny and has patchy white stubble. She wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. She has a hunchback. Her white hair is singed and shortened. She has gleaming, smiling gray eyes.
Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. A true patriot, Helja would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: She got into the Spy business at a young age. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Helja took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up shield and armor she uses now. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and balancing her hectic life and new spy responsibilities is difficult

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories she has discovered
History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She was granted martial powers by her dying sister.
Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.
History: Volen was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. She is a great chef.
History: She was born in the east. A gifted student she started as a Barber, but she got bored and became a Miller. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 12 years.
Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Description: She is a husky woman, who sports brown clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. Her gray fur is lengthy and is close to two feet long. Her hazel eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.
History: Gifted from a young age, Pelt studied abroad. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Pelt fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To be a Blacksmith again; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Thorin enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He bought a monstrous two handed axe and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and his religion dominates his actions
