Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with tan lining and desert motifs. He has shaved his head bald. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Umpen is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He wears a tan coat over a red low-cut shirt, and a top hat upon his head. His moppish red hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His gray eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Soapmaker arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This woman is generally shirtless and showing off her tattooed chest. She is muscular with a powerful set of arms. Her blonde hair is smooth and relatively long. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines gray.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Juliana embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. She disdains her fellow southerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Juliana was born on a far southern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Sculptor. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Sculptor and was forced into it by her family; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Juliana was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She is envious of other's things. She hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that she so desires. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. Trym was born on a far western island where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Stylist. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes

Description: This younger middle-aged woman wears a worn and beaten armor, and a wedding ring on her left hand. Her chestnut hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Her brown eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: She is a Unemployed first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Portia was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Description: This western woman wears light armors faded through time and improper care. Her clothes are grease stained in places. She has styled her golden hair well, parting it to the right. Her green eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. A true patriot, Caelynn would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. Through the years after Caelynn was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Caelynn's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Caelynn and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and many giants want her driven away
