History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A freak accident while working with his Sage mother left him crippled. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. The war was a terrible time for him, and Scrag does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. After a long history of fighting, Scrag and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Mary was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.
