Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Therai will drive conversation. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: Therai was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Therai was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Therai decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He has wavy copper crest. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady gold eyes.
Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.
History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Kerkad took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up ceremonial dagger and armor he uses now. He's also a talented Junk Dealer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Mason responsibilities is difficult; and wants to open a new tavern
