History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: The child of a Roofer, who enjoyed hunting, Damakos was taken on many hunting expeditions. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying west to reunite her family. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Baern was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Scribe hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor.
